Professional therapy can alleviate your suffering, build up your confidence, and help you to feel more inspired. It provides support, motivation, and practical strategies to help you reach goals and improve your life. Individual therapy is available for adults and teenagers 13 years old and up.

Effective communication in couples relationship can be difficult. Whether you are in a brand new relationship learning how to navigate life with someone else, or experiencing the difficulties that build up during years of shared life, couples therapy offers a safe environment to address issues in a supportive and positive way.

Therapy

Family therapy is available to help family members improve communication, solve family problems, and navigate special family situations like parents-children relationships, loss of family member, substance abuse, parent’s divorce, and behavioral problems. 

 
My Approach

My style is strength based, trauma focused, directive, empowering, solution-focused, down-to-earth,  and non-judgmental.

I believe strongly in fostering a therapeutic relationship where my clients can openly discuss ways their unique backgrounds and experiences impact their lives.  My approach is collaborative — we'll work together to help identify and reach your goals. I welcome an open dialogue to create the best therapy for you as an individual. I see the immense strength, value, and potential for self-growth in each of my clients.

My model for treatment of each client depends of course on that particular person’s needs and goals.

About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida,  with specializations/training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Positive Psychology, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, disorder, phobias, relationship problems, substance abuse, and life stressors in general.
